1st BIO-Boost Staff Exchange at OnTech Granada

On 12th of April 2023, 2nd Project BIO-Boost Partner Meeting was organized in Copenhagen, Denmark by coordinators, Food & Bio Cluster Denmark.
At the same time Study visit was organized at Kitchen Collective - an incubator for niche food producers and chefs. Visiting partners had an opportunity to get some insights into the innovation process at Food & Bio Cluster Denmark. But before that all partners had to pitch their own way of making innovation to exchange some good practices and approaches. In the second part of the visit, the host COO, Lars Horsholt Jensen from Food & Bio Cluster Denmark presented their innovation process and after, Nordic Koji Company and Pierre's Original presented hands-on company cases as super satisfied clients of this ecosystem.
At the end of the day, funding opportunities in Denmark were presented face-to-face by Innovation Fund Denmark, Erhvervshus Hovedstaden (Copenhagen Business Hub), and by EEN (Anders Skeem).
Next day Partners of Project BIO-Boost attended important Regional event: Innovation in biosolutions - Reaching the next level, organized by Food & Bio Cluster Denmark and hosted by DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
The power of biotech was well exposed by Jens Erik Nielsen (Novozymes), while Seyed Soheil Mansouri (DTU) has vividly presented research collaboration and available facilities.
Three different panels and related projects were held for startups to get some answers to their pitches:
- Forming and managing boards and advisory boards in startups
- How to approach sales to and partnership with a large companies
- From projects to sales - choosing your focus and creating standardized products
At the end of our Study visit we've also had the opportunity to visit DTU Skylab incubator where future entrepreneurs thrive.
